Gabon has named its Vice President Julien Nkoghe Bekale as new Prime Minister, replacing Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda, who served as the country’s first female Prime Minister since 2019. Nkoghe Bekale was appointed by President Ali Bongo Ondimba on Saturday.
