The central bank of Ghana will not be a part of the financial stability fund that has been established to provide liquidity to banks participating in the domestic debt exchange. The governor of the central bank announced this decision on Monday, stating that the fund will be primarily financed by external partners.
Note that on January the country had confirmed its request for debt relief under the G20 Common Framework.
